Red Sea Diving

Coral reefs are one of Nature´s masterpieces, as well as the main reason for diving the Red Sea. The survival of the reef depends on an intricate balance between all components from the tiny polyps which build the calcium carbonate exoskeleton of the reef, to its great pelagic visitors. Each fin-stroke, each unwary movement of the diver may raise a cloud of sediment or worse still, break off a coral branch which will take years to repair.

In order to protect the reef, and to raise divers awareness of their ecological impact, certain areas were designated National Parks by the Egyptian authorities such as ( Ras Mohamed & Nabq).

The Red Sea is one of the most popular dive destinations in the world, with excellent dive opportunities for the complete beginner, as well as the experienced diver. Year-round sunny weather and ideal sea conditions, makes Sharm El Sheikh unarguably one of the best diver training locations in the world.

If you want to learn to scuba dive, the first step is to take an entry level course. Not sure if a full-blown course is for you? Take a Discover Scuba or Discover Scuba Diving program at One World Divers and experience what you're missing. Kids are welcome too. There are a variety of fun and exciting programs available for them as well.
